MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck a municipality in Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In an afternoon bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake occurred at 12:03 p.m. Its epicenter was located east of Lingig, Surigao del Sur.

Reports on the earthquake’s intensities are also yet to be released, the agency added.

It was reported to be an aftershock of a magnitude 7.4 Surigao del Sur earthquake on December 2, 2023.
